The CaPAZ II programme aims to improve the psychosocial resilience and employability of young people in order to prevent violence in Central American countries. We work in four areas:

  1. Strengthening the psychosocial resilience of young people.
  2. Non-formal vocational training.
  3. Partnerships with the private sector to generate green or digital jobs
  4. Youth participation and youth rights

The programme’s target group is young people aged 14 to 29 from neighborhoods with high levels of violence in El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras. It is also being implemented in other member countries of the Central American Integration System (SICA) in coordination with the Secretariat for Central American Social Integration (SISCA).
